自動ドアの前で、軽く手かざしてる人、だいたいジェダイ。
オダワラヒロです。
本日は小田原駅の夜
について軽くお話ししたいと思います。
夜になると昼間の観光の賑わいとは、また別の景色をみることができます。
お仕事を頑張った方々、部活や勉学を頑張った学生たちの帰路
仲間同士で飲食したりと、ここまではどこにでもある駅近の賑わい方ですよね。
小田原市は観光地でもあります。
夜でも、観光客の賑わいがとても暖かさを演じています。
また、観光地ならではのネオンが彩っているのです。
私自身、昭和？平成？お城もあるから平安時代？江戸時代？
ミナカ小田原のようなハイブリッドな建物が令和らしく、
様々な時代を複合したかのような特別な場所に魅了され住むことに決めました。
もちろん名字が一緒だから愛着や興味も元々あったりして。
魅力を写真で少しご紹介
改札出る前に確認できる歴史ある駅なんです。
東口を出るとすぐ目の前に立ちはだかる、哀愁あるこのビル、最高ですね。
ずっとこのまま立ち続けていてほしいと切に願っています。
このビルに入ってるテナントは本当にセンスが良いと個人的に思っております。
続いて後ろ振り向くと恒例の夜の小田原駅ですね。
ただただ、かっこよくないですか？
日本の駅は素敵な駅が多いですが、小田原駅も負けてません。
夜に聳え立つ感じが、特撮映画を感じさせます。
駅を出て右を向くと、冒頭でお話しした、
歴史をタイムスリップしているかのような
特別な風景を見ることができるのも
小田原駅の最大の魅力
とわたしは思っております。
何故、夜にその景色をみると、より感じられるのか。
おそらくこのネオンとお城のライティングが絶妙なのだと思います。

日本で一番いろんな時代を感じることができる場所だと私は思います。

雨の日の小田原駅/Odawara Station on a rainy day
コンビニでトイレ借りるだけだと悪いからと思い、買い物する人、絶対良い人。
どうもオダワラヒロです。
本日は雨ですが、雨の日の小田原駅周辺の面白ポイントについて少しお話ししたいです。
雨の日といえば、私はもっぱら家にいたい人間ですが、仕事や学校でどうしても出なければならない人が殆どだと思います。
雨の日は憂鬱ですか？
私は風が強くなければ比較的大丈夫なのですが、外に出たらその日の目的地に行くことで精一杯になりますよね。
雨の日に小田原市に遊びに来て、時間に余裕がる方は是非参考にしてみてください。
やること番号順にざっくりお話ししますね。
①小田原駅の天井をみあげましょう
小田原駅の目線の高い部分、結構気合入ってます。
ステンドグラスやら、巨大提灯がみえること、雨の音がよく聞こえてきますよ。
②二宮金治郎の銅像をここぞとばかり眺める
有名なお言葉
・どんなものにも徳がある
・譲って損なく 奪って益なし
小田原城の近くにも二宮金治郎カフェなんかもあり、
彼は、偉大な推しの人物です。

③ミナカ小田原に行く
え、わざわざ雨の日？
てっ思われる方もいると思いますが、雨の日をゆっくり過ごすのに最適です。
展望足湯庭園も屋根があるので風がなければ、足湯の浸かることができます。
また、金治郎広場もあり、広場を取り囲むお店も様々なので楽しめると思います。
だから、何故雨の日かって？
晴れの日よりも人が屋内にいるので、
ミナカ小田原の建物の構造や、写真に収める絶好のチャンスなんです。（小声）
④雨の日の小便小僧を探す
これはただの完全な趣味的提案です。
小便小僧世代ではないので見つけた時感動しました。
場所のヒントはミナカ横の市営駐車場の近くです。
みつけたら写真もとるのも少しハードルがありますが頑張ってみつけてみてください。
雨のシチュエーションがとても良いのでおすすめです。
どうでしたか、駅前だけでも十分楽しめます。

雨が降ったら晴れますので、日本は幸い雨よりも晴れの日が多いです。

と、最後に、今日駅前でですね、仕事の合間に「小田原うさぎ。 どらやき。」を買いました。
とても深い美味しさで、生地は最初はふわふわ噛むとモチモチで、あんこは香り豊かな甘みに、塩のきいたバターが調和しとても美味しいのでそちらも是非。
ちなみに私はほぼ毎日食べてます。。。
あ、あとミナカにポケモンカード落ちてました、これ良いカードですか？

遠い昔、遥か彼方の若かりし青春時代、遊びにきたことのある思い出の土地でした。
最近、小田原に住みはじめ、これからはじまる出来事を記録残す活動をしていきます。
以前ブログを作成したころとは勝手が変わり戸惑いがありますが、ゆるく楽しくやっていこうとおもいましたよ〜。
遥か昔と言っても、10年は経っていないかなと思いますが、ここ数年で目まぐるしい進化をしていた城下町！住みやすく、楽しいこれからの小田原を応援していきたいと思います。
